hi all, i got a lil funny story
well i was at the car dealership today...there was a buick/pontiac dealership and its neighbors were mitsubishi and honda.
my dad for some reason was sorta interested in the buick lacrosse so he was checkin it out with some goofey car salesman...so i went to the honda dealer to drool over the s2ks =D
well after a bit i went back to see how my dad was doing and they both were in a buick..so i jumped in...my dad asks me "is it comfortable in the back?"
i reply with " no..it feels really awkward" (car salesman was in front passanger seat)
the sales man whips around all offended and spat "this car is faster then that peice of shit fart can you were lookin at"
haha i was like wtf....
then he goes on telling me stories about how he goes around beating every japanese rice burner on the road with his automatic buick..
boasting he beats EVOs...WRX STIs..S2ks..acuras...ect...all the time..
haha...and he kept asking me if i live in a cave? lol cuz apparently im really stupid...thought it was sorta funny.
anyway thats my rant >.<

 

If you looked anything like what your screen name is, there might be an element of truth to what the salesman said. jk. I had a salesman sweat like he was having a heartattack the whole time while I test drove a TL. I told him I just test drove the new G35S sedan. He seemed to believe it was the better car because he became a bit embarassed.

 

I'd have calmly said "Dad, maybe you should go back inside and find another salesman. There...well....seems to be something wrong with this guy."

Just curious... How did your dad react to how this salesperson was talking to you? It sounds like he was sorta disrespecting you.

 

well while that guy was rambling on and on my dad cut him off and said something to the affect of "thanks, but were not interested anymore" and so we left

 

saddest pricks i've seen are among the ones who deviate away from reality.

I hate salesmen who are not only sleezy, but can't sell. I know what its like to have to try to "sell" an item, and I understand... but the ones who are sleezy, incompetent, and still are incapable of making a passing attempt at selling anything... that is infuriating.
... I can continue to tell the story about the Salesman who told me that his regular TL would outrun my S. This is when I already told him I was not looking for a fast car, rather a safe daily-driver. Oh dear. I got a bit frustrated... then angry...
