I am turing 24 in a couple of days. I don't know do I want to get marry this early. Just wondering what are other people's thought on this board about when did you get married? Was life good after the marriage, still the same, or going downhill afterwards?

I was on the Australian plan, you know, wait till 40 but my GF was starting to get restless. So I took the leap at 34...it was well worth it.

Well, I'm 35, never been married, but a lot of my friends, well, most of them anyway, who got married in their early 20's are divorced, with a kid that bounces between the two of them. If you want to stay married, the chances of a divorce fall GREATLY after the age of 28. I think waiting until your mid-30's is more advisable, though. I have no plans nor no real desire to get married...personally I enjoy my life exactly as it is. But that's a very personal choice everyone must make...

Of course, some who marry young stay married, but the statistics are not with them. Wait...I'll be in my 40's when I get hithched, I bet.

Enjoy life, that's the key...
