It's all up to you! Annie and I met about 6 years before we got married. We dated for 3.5 of those 6. After about 2.5 I started getting the "are we going to get married" questions and I responded with - If I'm still hanging out with you after 2.5 years and being 28 well then ya, it's in the plans, but not until I feel so inclined, otherwise I'd be wasting valuable time that I could be out finding Ms. Right. One day, for some unknown reason, the spirit moved me and I proposed. We got married the year I turned 30. I haven't regretted a minute of it. I very much enjoy being married and Ann is a wonderful woman. She doesn't quite understand our passion for our vehicles, but tolerates it nonetheless. I think you'll know when it's right and it's a decision only you can make. Good luck!!

 

I'm 36 and dating a woman of the same age. Only difference between us is that she's been married (and divorced) three times, and I've never taken the plunge. She's pressuring me to ask the big question (we've been dating three years) but I'm in no rush to be husband #4, does anyone have a problem with that?

Some people get married for all the wrong reasons. I'm determined to wait until I feel the time is right, and it is going to take time.
