Quite amusing but a little repetative.
Finished that one a few months back - He goes a little too far sometimes but the book is overall pretty informative

"The 13th Valley" by John M. Del Vecchio. It's pretty intense but sad and eye-opening at the same time. I'm only about 100 pages in (it's about 600 pages, I think, in hardcover) so I don't know if I'd recommend it or not - have to wait 'til I'm done!

Aside from that, I'm reading back issues of Motor Trend and getting ticked off at their stories. I wouldn't recommend them.

Dune is an incredible book, but I get lost once I get into the books after it

I read the Hobbit in 6th grade... I brought it to school and read it there, then came home and read till about 12 at night for 3 days and finished it. I've probably read it 4 or 5 times over again too. I also finished the Trilogy in I think a little more than a week. Also reread multiple times.

If you haven't read it before, check out Starship Troopers. It's way better than the movie and way different.

hmmm I'll have to dig around and find some more good sci-fi

The Brotherhood of War series by W.E.B. Griffin - way good war story series

The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan - I'm finished with book 9, waiting for #10 to come out... Maybe half way through the story (and they're long books )

The Four Lords of the Diamond series by Jack L. Chalker - good sci-fi

Footfall by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle - Crazy midget elephants from outer space attack earth - It sounds dumb but it's really reaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyyyy good

Oh yea, which brings to mind two of my all-time favorite series..

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy (which is 5+ books) - Douglas Adams

The Death Gate Cycle - Margaret Weis and Tracey Hickman <--- note about this one, I absolutely hate those dorky sci fi fantasy "hobbit" type books, but this was series was very interesting!
