The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.

And "To Kill a Mockingbird" (both book and movie) are simply incredible.

WOW! I'm suprised you would say you would recommend any of his books except Sphere. Everyone I've ever met including myself liked that one the best, or sometimes it takes second to Jurassic Park. Might I ask what you didn't like about it?

I just went out to Borders and Barnes & Noble and spent $50 on books (I had $25 gift cards to each)

Glory Road- by Heinlein was semi-good
