From a scientific point of view, a lower multicellular organism would have evolved into a higher form of animal so the chicken would have come first. And to be techincal about it, birds have been shown to be related to certain prehistoric flying dinosaurs so it would only make sense the the chicken evolved from some other animal and then a pair of chickens laid the first egg.

yea that's what I'm saying. The theory of Chicken mutated from another breed, hatched from their eggs, but continue using eggs as reproduction.

Egg.

There was a creature which we will call a "Shicken" for this thread. This "Shicken" laid an egg. In the egg was a genetic mutation known to us as a "Chicken."
