I purchased a car from a guy a little over a month ago w/out the pinkslip. He promised to get me the slip the following week because he said that they sent it to his old home, where he used to live and now hes living at his new apt. So I said ok.

Bottom line is, after calling him, emailing him, etc, I have still not yet received the pinkslip although he did tell me a couple weeks ago he had the DMV send the slip to me directly...

I ended up selling the car a couple weeks ago to someone on H-T.com. Hes very cool about the situation but at the same time a little worried (as I am also). I dont think this guy is trying to scam me because the car is registered under him w/ current tags, etc. I do have his full name, along w/ email and phone number, and interestingly a copy of his credit card bill (it was trashed under the driver seat).

Ive been sending him emails and vmails and he isnt returning my contacts. At the moment I'm filling out a DMV Consumer Complaint. What else can I do guys? Anyone in the legal business that can help me out?
