What digital camera is good for arount $300?
I love my Canon Powershot Elph. I got it for around $300, but you have to add the memory card and extra battery, which added up to around $500.
I like it b/c it's small and has the capability to record mpegs. I use it mostly on snowboard trips. It will fit in my snowboard pants.

I shoot all the time digitally with a variety of Kodak cameras.
The DX4330 might be a great choice.

can't go wrong with canon, but since the best buy/circuit city nearest me didn't have one in stock (S30) i got a sony cybershot dsc-p7. it works as well as a S30 since i dont use most of those real photographer stuff anyways. the sony is a good size too if you like it small. i'll go take a picture at about 5:30 since the clouds that were here this morning that i wanted to take pictures of are now replaced by dumb gray ones >.<

Some Staples stores still have the Kodak DX4900 camera marked down to less than $300. It is a 4 megapixel camera. Good pictures and easy to use.
I would suggest calling your local Staples to see if they have it. If not, they can look up stores that do have it. Also, I paid at my local store and they had it shipped (free) from a store a couple of states away...
