That would be Haleakala a dormant volcano. The sunrise is amazing, but it's freak'n cold. Bring a big ass ski jacket. Guys go on these bike tours or something. They ship the bikes up to the top and you ride it down. It looks cool, but also kind of dangerous.

Go visit Lahaina and the road to Hana.

My wife and I (two old farts) road the bikes down Haleakala, drove to Hana, took a sail boat to Lanai, went snorkeling, hiked, shopped, and didn

I ain't tellin' you where I go because the beauty of it is that virtually no one knows about it but my family and the locals. But if you like to walk around outside and shop (and get offered lots of maui-wowi), Lahaina is fun. If you like to golf, Wailea is fun. BUT THE ONE THING I HAVE TO RECOMMEND is Roy's. It is an AWESOME restaurant. There are two on the island. One is 10 minutes north of Lahaina on the way to Kapalua. The other is in Wailea Makena. If you ask the concierge at the hotel, they will know what you are talking about. Roy has restaurants all over the islands, in Monterey, in SF and in LA. It is one of if not my absolute favorite places to eat. GREAT FOOD!

Go to Big Beach, climb the cliff, and go to the other side... that's Little Beach on the other side, a nude beach! I freaking love that island!

Sailboard, sailboard, sailboard! If you don't know how go get a lesson. Try the beach near the airport (around the corner from Hookipa) Later you can do rentals in the surf or in the trades on the other end of the island near Lahaina. By the way, Lahaina means merciless sun. It's hot.
Try snorkling in Molokini crater or wading in fresh water streams at Iao Needle. Black volcanic beaches and Little Beach are certainly interesting.

Lol.. I'm not sure who it was (I forgot, I need to work on my memory) but they give you jackets and bikes and helmets and stuff.. They take you up to the top in a van, give you your bikes and send you on your way.. it's really really cool...
