I always thought that "Bowtie" was a name that I gave them.
So, when the Ladies Auxilary at the Chinese United Church has a fund raiser and decide to make these things, they turn to each other and say, "OK, you, you and you are in charge of making 'xxxxxxxx' ?"
I'm sure they don't say "Bowties". What would they say? Would the direct translation by "glazed eggroll skins"?

(Besides, I only get them once a year and I eat only a couple a day. They last less than a week. It's all those "Lays" I eat that will kill me.)
