I think that a lot of people don't understand that CPO warranties for time and milage start when the car is first titled to the original owner. That may have nothing to do with you, but... just sayin.

If a car is an 06 with 60000 miles on it and it has a 7 year/100K mile CPO warranty and say sold originally November 19, 2005. That would mean that the new owner gets 2 years and up to 40000 miles whichever comes first.

Bought my 06 CPO with 27k. Almost 18 months later and no complaints at all. The car is solid and many years remaining on the powertrain warranty.

CPO at least means that it went through some checks as far as tire and brake wear so you know you'll have some life from the tires and brakes as well as any accident damage. Honda probably will offer close to new car interest rates as well through the CPO program.

There are hardly any private sellers within 300 miles of me. If I do find one someone has modded their s2000 or want more than a dealer.

not surprised.....private parties are going off of what the 3rd party sites say, dealers are going off of real time values of what people are paying.
