While the S2k and the interest in it bring us all together, there is a pretty good variation between us all in terms of what we do and what we're into. I've seen questions answered on here ranging from financial advice to psycho therapy and kitchen sink repair. So what does every one do for a living or as a hobby? What do you specialize in? Perhaps we could all benefit one way or another and possibly make some useful business/work connections?

I operate a pet sitting business in Toronto which includes doggy daycare, dog walking, home boarding and a couple misc services. I'm currently planning on starting a new business also in the pet care industry.

 

I own and run an environmental services firm. (See my sig.) My hobbies are Astronomy and photography.

. . . own a consulting firm specializing in project risk management, mainly cost and schedule risk

. . . own a software development company that currently markets two products: software to analyze investment portfolios, and collateral integrity analyses for single-family residences (these highlight anything questionable about the collateral for real estate loans)

. . . entertain people with the impossible

. . . remain a gentleman whilst doing so.

I'm in the military with a very specific (and mostly unusable outside of the military) specialty, but really I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. I do a lot of research and I'm very involved in current events. So if anyone needs help looking anything up...let me know. For hobbies, I'm just short of my master diver qual from SSI, I've done enough skydiving to keep myself from going splat into the ground, but not enough to actually give advise beyond what to look for in a first jump school and I'm good at drinking beer.

well, i'm a slave to the navy....structural/hydraulic mechanic on f/a-18e/f superhornets. the flight deck life is pretty exciting, but i'm definitley not a 'lifer' been in for 5 years.
