Default What does a Rolex say about a person??

Well, this past weekend my aunt and I went to go look at some Rolex watches. The only one that really caught my eye was the (Presidential????) model. It has a white face with white gold/steel band. It looked really good until I saw the price of $19k. That would be like walking around with a freakin car on my wrist.

But then again, a nice time piece is our only real jewelry. Women on the other hand, get diamond ear rings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. etc......

Would any of you buy a watch that expensive???

I chose an Ebel because I like the look and it's rather uncommon. And it's for da#n sure not a $20K watch!

The only Rolex I really desire is the Daytona...

I have a Rolex Explorer II .... nothing like the cost you are talking about, but a lovely timepiece IMHO .....

I would not be happy walking round with 19k's worth of watch on my wrist though .....

$19k could be better spent elsewhere.

the rolex president is a nice watch, but when u get into the white gold, that is when pricing becomes stupid.
i got a black face datejust ss/gold, it was a lot less than 19k. the way i figure, ill never buy another watch again, maybe, so ill get a good one. plus i dont wear any jewellery at all, no rings, etc.
also remember, those people spending 19k obviously have the money to spend on that watch, plus the money to buy an exotic car, its all relative
