i always hated nap time in kindergarten because they would always make us practice brushing our teeth first. so they'd bring out these toothbrushes and each one had our name written on it, then they'd make us brush our teeth with NO toothpaste. it was frick'n gross... i was 5 years old and i knew even then that that was wrong and disgusting. and the toothbrushes always tasted funny...

You seem like a pretty accomplished guy for being still in kindergarten, Everett.

you could always just open up a huge spreadsheet, push down on the mouse wheel to bring up the scrolly circle thingy. slowly page down, close your eyes and nap.

the problems arise when your office lights are activated by motion sensors. I have walked by people sleeping in their office. you know they are sleeping because you can see them inside through the window, and everything is dark and they are sitting perfectly still.

or you can just walk out to your car and rest inside during lunch. i used to do that all the time at my last job. it was that or hit balls at the driving range a few miles down the road... the driving range was fun until i saw my boss there...

They have nap times in Asia, for adults. When I traveled to Vietnam, almost everything shut down at noon for workers and people to nap until 2PM-ish.

We have a "wellness room" at work and I've been known to nap in there every once in awhile.
