You guys just get so defensive when I ask why.. especially when I say you are the last person on earth to get robbed, you flip out and tell me to go leave my doors wide open and take out my airbag...
And you seem to keep generalizing the ways robbers pick their victims. How in the world do you know if a robber is going to break into my house or not? I hope it never happens, but unlike you I'll be ready IF it does happen.

I think in general, the amount of robberies that occur in places such as where you live are a miniscule fraction of the robberies that take place in say Camden.

I thought about chasing him down, but in the end, I didn't even call the police. The guy was a moron, that's why he's robbing people with a gun. He'll get his one day
He'll get his one day? WTF? You didn't even call the police?

Yeah that makes sense, when he shoots the next victim it's on your head for not even calling the cops.

Not wanting to defend yourself is your complete and total right but calling the police is absolutely your responsibility.

Thanks for doing so little to lower the crime rate.

As for it never happening to you, if your father owned a security company you'd think differently because instead of living in Disneyland you'd be face to face with people that were victimised.

When you see it you know it, if you never see it then your oblivious.

You obviously never really saw it or, if the story you told me is true, you elected to put your head in the sand.

What can I say to that....

Start with raising good kids..

I know I know it takes a village....

Then let me smack them in the back of the head for you and do my part as part of the village.

back to topic, ignoring the haters on both sides of the issue...

Both Glock 19s.

For the record, I do not keep guns as home protection. I have young munchkins around the house, so I keep these broken down, with receiver locks on the disassembled frames, inside locked cases, stored separately from ammo, inside a locked gun safe, in my locked garage.

I grew up around guns, got shot accidentally by idiots at firing ranges (yes multiple times), so I have a healthy respect for even range-plinking ammo. I keep these for two reasons:

1) I like to go to the range and shoot for sport. It's fun.
2) I accompany SDPD officers on ride-alongs as a police chaplain, and some of them who know me well prefer me to carry when I'm on patrol with them, as we're walking into crack houses and fun places like that. Backup on scene is always better than radio backup.

Are you just a naturally paranoid person then?
Dude, you keep trying to say you are "just asking why", yet your questions become more and more derogatory and sarcastic. This post is for posting pictures of weapons, and answering questions, so take your political agenda somewhere else please!

Anyone have a .40 that they would reccomend? I am getting my CWP within the next year and I will most likely be purchasing a .40. Thanks!
