Haven't seen Larry's yellow (formerly Greg's Scarlet I) S2K for a while.

I think so, he did express himself :

"First off thanks for all the support here and on the board. I have been
absent from the board because of all the new a%^holes that have nothing good
to say."

Sometimes I dont blame him

I talk to Larry often and what happened was a few people jumped all over him for not offering the Comptech supercharger at a price they thought was fair...so basically, some people tore him a new one and he just got tired of the abuse...that's it in a nutshell. I thought it was shameful, but what do I know...?

His car is still doing well. I talked to him a couple of days ago and he was having the stereo put in, had a few issues with the people that were doing it and it's not some kind of legal battle...that's all I should say about that. But the car has the blower, the NOS and all sorts of other goodies. He expects the car to run solid 12's and was supposed to race this past weekend, I haven't talked to him since then. I will soon. Hmmm...other things...well, he took the passenger side airbag out and put in the VAFC controller in a pop up kind of arrangement where the airbag was. Has the Indiglo gauges on the driver's side of the a-piller. The trunk is going to be fiberglassed and customed made subs put in there with amps, etc...

He's a good guy, I wish he felt more comfortable in hanging out here. He may lurk, I don't know, but he got really steamed and burned out by that last episode...too bad.

He has also started a new business to compliment his body shop...he now customizes what are called UAV's (Urban Assault Vehicles) and has a brand new Land Cruiser as a showcase and man, that thing is awesome!

Anyway, that's Larry is a nutshell! I'll tell him you all were thinking about him!

Just saw him a few days ago and he agreed to fix my front bumper (which was scrapped up last winter) - will be going in some time this summer to get that done (WHEN I GET TIME!)

I didn't even realize Larry was gone from the board or there was a flame war that he was involved in...whatever, he seemed cool to me, and I expect to get great results with the bumper fix (also have a fender ding hoping he can fix too)...

That's too bad about Larry. Seems like everyone in the Chicago area that needs bodywork done gets a recommendation to him.

Do you think there's a way he'll come back to the board???

Next time I'm out there, I'll talk to him about it.

I referred my neighbor to him. His black QX4 got keyed REALLY badly and they did a truly excellent job. They are quite pleased, as well...

Will keep you posted...
