Default What have you won in contests?

i don't recall ever winning anything other than a toy train when i was about 8 years old..... but the train was meant for a 2 year old so I gave it to our neighbors......

I used to win CD's & tee shirts on the radio but that is lame......

Anyone ever win $1,000,000 or $50,000, or a Corvette or anything good? a free trip?

Won plenty of Free Cokes/pepsi's etc in the 'look under the cap' contests. Won plenty of free meals/drinks/sandwiches in McDonalds 'monopoly' (or other restaurants similar games). A couple free concert tickets off the radio, etc. Ive won $5/$10/$15/free lotto tickets in scratch off games (which were gifts, cause I dont play lotto or the like)

I dont believe that I've won anything worth more than $100 in one shot. But put all the shit together that I've won, and its a few hundred bucks worth of stuff.

I have won stuff off of Star 98.7fm three times. The first prize I won was tickets to the grand finale taping of the first season of American Idol. I won a T shirt from them and then I won tickets to an advanced screening of the In Laws.

I'm in the U.S. Navy and won the Admirals parking spot for a month in a raffle. When I was serving aboard a submarine, the ship replaced the entertainment system in the wardroom and raffled off the old stuff. I won a Panasonic 4-Head VCR. It was used, but hey, the raffle ticket was like a dollar so who cares?!

When I was in the 5th grade I won my school National Geographic Geography Bee. I won by guessing, each class had a contest and the winners of each class contest were put together and went head to head. The winning question for my class contest was "What does a barometer measure?." The girl I was against said "temperature", I didn't know and guessed pressure. For the finals, the final question was "What was our nations first national park?" Again, I guessed and said Yellowstone. I won a blow up globe, a book "Natural Wonders of North America" and a world map for my classroom.

Last year, my S2000 won "best import" at the base car show. Of course, there was only one other import, a bone stock early 90's Miata. I got a little trophy and a bunch of cleaning supplies from Schucks auto parts.
