I won $50 by being blindfolded and trying to find an envelope with the cast in it at a college basketball game. I was able to see at the bottom of the blindfold and found it immediately

I spent it on taco bell and beer.

Yeah, a lot of charities do this, and they only sell about 3,000 tickets for the raffle. So, the odds are pretty good (relatively speaking). I think in my buddy's case, they didn't even come close to selling all the tickets, so his odds were really good.

1) I ate 7 jalapeno peppers faster that the guy next to me ate one! I picked up a CD, Concert tickets and Baseball Tickets.
(Note the peppers hurt like He11 coming out the next day!)

2) Won a cow plop contest. A field was divided up into 1-square yard lots. I bought a lot for $10. They brought in a cow and after a couple of hours it dropped a load on my plot! I won $2,000!

I won a Phillips DVD recorder for filling out an online survey. I was tempted to sell it, but I hung on to it and it has worked great for almost 2 years now. It was retailing for $1000-$1200 at various places when I got it.
