This was the first thing that came to mind for me as well. General rule of thumb can actually be backwards from what your "common sense" would tell you. The more people that witness the less likely any of them will think they should help you.

Its a matter of culture. China was bred on self preservation. This is why China will never be a real superpower. Their social structure is far inferior to the rest of the world's.

I'm pretty sure every nation is about self-preservation... unless we go to war for reasons other than to preserve our security and livelihoods

And yes, their social structure is far inferior to ours, that's why you don't hear about women getting stabbed in NY screaming for help and no one bothers to look twice, right? That's also why we don't have to borrow money from them

Remember these people are our financial overlords in the US or will be in a few years.

Chairman Mao killed many more people than Hitler ever did.

But the parents must be arrested too, as a dad I or my wife always knew where they were.

Plus they value boys over there not girls, perhaps that's why they ignored her.

Think about that when you buy Chinese made goods.

china's people are fearful of their leaders and military. they have harsh punishments over there. they are bred to work as slaves you step out of line harsh punishments. hate china with a passion.
