This may sound corny to most, but The Beatles inspired me then and shaped the way I think and believe today. The impact they had on my generation was unlike anything before or since. It wasn't just their music (which was GREAT ), but things they said and did. In such violent times they preached LOVE .

On second thought, I'll go with Tricks 46. I must send him a PM and congratulate him on that spectacular comet image.

[i]... this plane is probably the largest contributor to my becoming an aerospace engineer. What/who inspires you? [/B]
So, THAT's my question. It's one thing to "be inspired" by some guy on TV, and then go about your regular life. It's entirely different to actually have your life change by something that "inspired" you.

So, how many people have been "inspired" in the sense of "a life changing inspiration". NOT the usual; "geee, I'm inspired. Buuuuurrrp. Guess I'll get another beer. Woman, get me a beer!"

My family.

Both of my grandfathers were immigrants to this great nation. Neither man was born into a family with sufficient wealth to allow them to finish their primary education. Yet both men lived long enough to own their own homes in S. CA., see that their children all finished high school, see two grandchildren graduate college, and leave behind legacies which continue to inspire the family.

On the days when I think I can't take it any more, or I feel like things are overwhelming, I reflect on what life must have challenged these men. That thought inspires me to put my head back down and do the best job that I possibly can.

A big thanks to both my Pops. I love them and miss them very much.
