Hi everyone,

One of the agents in my office asked me to scan this for one of his clients and I though you all would get a kick out of it. It was a map of a house back in 68 but on the other side of it was this old auto classified ad.



I was amazed to see some of these prices of these old classic cars. Hell we spend more on simple mods then it cost for some of these cars. Ahhhhh good old inflation.

I made it a thumbnail cause I wanted to keep the image large so you can zoom in and read the ads. Enjoy.

That is true. The dollar was worth more back then and with inflation of today

I like the add for the 1966 396ci chevy engine(would love to drop that into my '66 El Camino) that has the add for the 1958 Corvette for $350. That vette would be worth around $50k+ in good condition now a days.

My dad built a 3000 sq/ft brick house in 1963, his payments were $65.00 a month.
