what kind of shoes best for driving our s2000?

i have a pair of nike's i think that they are the best, the worst is my pair of steve madden 3in boots, i drove down to philly and put it this way, i couldnt feel my feet when i got home, it was horrable, so now i have my pair of nikes in the car for emergency use, if i know i am gonna need ot wear dressy shoes i throw them in the trunk get out the nikes and then when i get to my location switch, my friends think that i am nut! lol

oh 3 inch boots! i cant imagine how u drive with that! must be hurt, can u actually feel the clutch?
