In that case, I agree, the spec miata is a great car, with a lot of competition out there to race with. And if you ever decide you want to move up in power, you can always just turbo it

Sounds like you may have the budget for a Miata which would be fast.. but if you want to save a few dollars and don't mind FWD there are other possibilities. A well driven, well setup Sentra was as fast as many at TWS recently.

FYI, the 3g RX7 has 150 vacuum lines

Not a very fun car to work on, I`d stay away.

I have a few friends at Mazda R&D and I swear I heard them say 150 ( i could be wrong )

92-95 HB


AP Brakes


crv block w/ b16 (makes well over 200 to the wheels)


The owner also has a built NSX and this car is faster on the track! Total investment was around 10k which includes the chassis

Maybe 150 vacum connections, 75 hoses. Nevertheless, the sequential system is complicated, I'll give you that
