The one he uses earlier on in the film...its matte black and slides out (similar to the one in the first matrix)..I don't think its that new shiny chrome black one..this one seemed less "pretty". Any cell phone experts here?

Need a picture.. I'm guessing it's a Nokia 8910i from your description but I haven't seen the movie. That phone can't be used in the U.S.

Probably the new 8800. Can't be used in the U.S. because GSM uses 900/1800 MHz bands in Asia and Europe while it uses the 850 and 1900 MHz bands in the U.S.

Some phones do all 4, some only 2.
