What is RICE..?
Hmm-
My definition of rice is-
Aftermarket parts for Japanese/Asian cars that have not been developed with the intent to improve the car's performance.
Hence-
Body kits and wings that have not been tested in wind tunnels...
Coffee can exhausts...
Cut suspension springs for the "slammed" look...
Caliper paint...
The "Type R" badge on a Nissan or Toyota- or the "GT-R" badge on a Mustang (I've seen them!)
And I'm sure there are many other examples.
Keep in mind that many people out there like "riced out" cars. In my experience, most of the people who prefer "riced out" cars happen to also be more into the show, import drag and street racing scene than into performance driving and motorsports.

<---My other car
What can't be seen is the potato baker of an exhaust, the non-wind tunnel tested rear lip, side skirts, painted wheels, painted wheel rings, interior enhancements, etc.
I also call this my Yellow Rice mobile, Big Bird Rice, Show Rice, "Rice Good enough for showing, but not for serving", "They call me Mellow Yellow Rice", "We all live in a Yellow Submarine Rice", and some other descriptive names that I can't remember at this time.

Don't forget to add the home half a$$ hobby painted dash or the shoulder pads for your seat belt that don't exactly match the make or model of the car!! Oh yeah and the chicken wire used to make a homemade front grill!
