That's a good idea. In college I tutored MCAT for some money on the side. In Med school I worked in the ER for some extra money.

 

To answer your question, yes I do have a girlfriend. And we're both broke! haha... I feel bad ya know? She's going to school to be a pharmacist. I still want to get her some nice things or maybe take a weekend vacation. I've tried tutoring. But having a full time job, going to school full time, my day doesn't end until 10pm. By that time, everyone's asleep so I cant tutor. I'm even making a website to blog and see if I can make money with google adsense, affiliates, etc. I'm not as fortunate as many people to have rich parents to help me (I wish I did). I'm really into reef aquariums so just the last few weeks, I've been setting up tanks and maintaining them for a couple extra bucks a month, but even that has been slow.

Any other ideas?

 

Sell the s2000, but a civic. Pocket the difference.

 

I just used e-bay to try to sell an item. $45 list fee. The item did not sell and I was charged a $99 non selling fee.

 

alot of us don't have wealthy parents. We don't use that as an excuse but as motivation. That doesn't prevent us from borrowing $ to invest in our future. I drove an used beat up Civic in med school and residency. I could have gotten a part-time job and make some spending $ but that would compromise my grade.
