What sunglasses do you use?

Yeah, but that difference is not necessarily a positive one. Polarized sunglasses are great for water and snow activities. I am not so sure about driving. Personally, I find them to have a negative effect. You are able to see all these things that you aren't able to see without them (e.g. the colors in your windshields or in the plastics of headlamps.) It also makes the grease on the road distort your perception of things. Probably not a big difference, but I would rather have them while fishing out on the lake or when skiing (where there is a lot of "ambient" glare and not "acute" glare such as from windshields.)
Summary:
Test polarized out on the road before you make your choice. Don't just fall for that polarized test in the store where they should you how the glasses can show you the hidden lines on the test sheet. Those "hidden" things may not be great for driving.

I've been wearing a pair of Oakley C wires for the last 4 years or so. I really like the way they fit, their durability, and optical quality. This pair is getting a little long in the tooth, and is starting to show its age, so I may have to retire them and get a pair of something else. Whatever it will be next time, you can bet your ass they'll be polarized. Bigest mistake I ever made was buying non-polarized sunglasses.
I went sunglass shopping last night and ended up picking up a pair of Maui Jim Kapalua's. Had them on this morning on the way to work (top down), and I am already in love with them
. I could already tell a big difference in the lense over my old polarized oakleys.
Love my Maui Jim Kapalua's, but I wish they were just a bit more rugged. My wife (all 95lbs of her) sat on them by accident and no matter how much I try to bend them back, they're totally crooked.
I'll see if I can send them back or take em to my local optician to straighten them out.
It's absolutely amazing how great these lenses are. Some cool things that I've noticed is that I can totally see inside other peoples cars as I'm driving, these on the lake for fishing is absolutely amazing, theyre perfect for golfers as they are super light and I forget that I'm even wearing them.
I also have sets of techomarine and smith bauhaus shades for when I feel like playin like a celebrity in public
, and a set of spy coopers for the daily grind.
