El Jimador is a decent option if on a budget. Although I wouldnt recommend drinking any of the 'cheaper' tequilas straight up.

gatecrasher can tell about a funny story involving me and tequila...

ended up somewhere around here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...post&p=16838228
Which one?
The night we took a picture of your thumb about to go up random girls hot ass, and her little mexican boyfriend (who was dancing with other guys the entire night) wanted to fight us?

or

The $1 tequllia shot night; we started with a pitcher of beer @ the mix, followed by another pitcher and shot (1800 silver or patron) at Joey's, followed by 4 to five lonestars at the random bar with the motorcycle inside, to our pleasant surprise they had $1 tequllia shot & $1 lonestars. I think the tab was around $14 more than half of that was shots... Oh yeah it was the bartenders birthday, we took some blue shot with her. The last hour and a half we sat and watched 3 girls (2 were hot, one needed a few more drinks) playing pool as we slowly sobered up to make the drive home.
Heading back to our cars Senor decides to puke in the parking lot behind the bar. He then slips his key the ignition, turns the car on without starting it. I think he had the AC on.
I get a phone call @ 6am from Senor telling me his battery has died and he is still in the parking lot behind the bar.

As for Tequilla:
Don Julio
Milagro (Mixes well)

I have never, ever found a good sipping tequilla for less than about $40.00. If anyone else has please let me know .So if you're gonna sip it straight, then be prepared to pay about $40.00. The Don Julio line is very good and usually available. I prefer the El Tesoro de Don Felipe line.

If you're on a budget then make margaritas and use any 100% blue agave blanco or silver. It has to be 100% blue agave or you'll suffer from a headache.

My personal preference for sipping is El Tesoro Anejo or Blue Head anejo. For margaritas it's El Tesoro Silver, lime juice, Cointreau or Gran Mariner, salt and ice

This reminds me of the annoying saying "cheap, fast, reliable: pick 2."

Maybe it should be "cheap, tasty: pick 1"?????
