Off-topic TalkWhere overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.
I love the M Coupe, and would put it in a distinguished list along with such cars as the S2000 (except it has better numbers).. It is, as tractorcrusher mentioned, a work of art IMO.
Originally posted by ElTianti I'd put that new Lexus hardtop convertible on the ugly car list.
You think the SC430 is ugly? Man, if that car came in a 6 speed it would rock. I think it is a beautiful car, excellently engineered, just unfortunately(like Mercedes) didn't come with a 6 speed. They kinda market it towards women. But a hell of a great driving car. Plenty of HP's and super smooth.
I know it's not a car (neither is the Aztec) but I can't believe nobody has mentioned the Chevy AVALANCHE. I wonder how many soda bottles and Rubbermaid containers were melted down for those hideous grey fender skirts & body cladding.
GM......you need to " Re-engineer " your Design Staff!
Nothing defines ugly like a yellow Aztec. Not only ugly, but the yellow tends to bring the ugliness into sharper relief.
As for the AMC Pacer and the Gremlin. I dunno, but these cars (especially the Gremlin) get a bad rap because they were tasteless in their own era. Nowadays (if they are in nice shape, not a beater) they have that retro flair.
Bagging on the BMW Z3? Personally, I like the car. BMW did a big favor for me by discontinuing it, it made the S2000 purchase much easier (the Z3 was on my alternate list).
