I paid $1955 for it. I bought it from an authorized retailer who has treated me well in the past. It was an impulse purchase and I really didn't shop around for a "good deal."

I agree. It is the only Tag model I like. I need a chrono as I am always timing things. I was also looking at the Bell & Ross Vintage 126. I didn't like it $1700 better.

An original Omega Speedmaster Professional #101X of 2000. Probably my most prized possession (behind my S2K of course).

Viper, thanks for the link, I've always been into watches, but I'm just now starting to to really get obsessed.

There are enough people around me obsessed with time that I don't wear any. When I worked as a director of engineering for hotels I was the only staff member not late to staff meetings along with the GM. I didn't wear a watch then either.

I'm getting the sense Oldman that you are the zen master for this site. Am I correct or confused?

I'm thrilled with the answer either way!

nice are those urethane inserts on the band? reminds me of my old festina
No idea - all I know is that it is titanium, with that scratch proof crystal stuff for the cover!

Sorry for the watch ignorance!
