Well, they DID notice that $250,000 was missing. That's where this thread originated from. They did not notice that the smaller portions were missing. I'm sure it started with $10.00 or something smaller, then it escalated as the "nephew" (or former nephew) realized that he could get away with more.
I work for my mom, and have three superiors between her and me. For about a month I would show up close to an hour late for work. It happened once on accident; when I wasn't reprimanded it continued. No one wants to rat on, or complain about, the owner's family.
