i was standing next to paul tracy a few months ago and we were both wearing daytonas....we actually had a convo about it.
i was watching the BUSCH race on teh weekemd and i notcied Chip Ganassi's white-faced, gold daytona.
it may be a relatively "common" watch, but people that know about watches, know that a daytona is a "special" watch.
besides, if you're a racing nut, the daytona is everything.
If you're going to have one watch and only one watch I say get a rolex. This is what I tell a lot of my customers who are really in the market for one quality piece. The daytona is a solid watch that you will be able to enjoy for many years to come, and as I stated before the combination that you are looking at has not been offered for long, thus giving you something a little different and imo the best looking daytona to date.
you can look around, but from the sound of things you'll end up getting the most out of the rolex. If you have any questions about specific brands/models that you may come across on your search you can pm me to get an honest opinion (since I'm not selling it to you
) Good luck on making this decision...I know it's rough but no matter what others may say, go with what feels the best to you...we can help you decide which one will last the longest, what looks good to us, and what we like...but in the end you'd better get the one that YOU love...because whichever one you get it'll be worth more than my car
