Take her to one of those Breakfast in Bed places...Women love shopping so buy her a $500-$1000 Macy's gift card that way she will leave you alone for 1 whole day so you can mod your car while she's shopping? So Mingster, know any good AMPs in your area?

Errrr....uhhhhhh.... I'd like the mods, personally, but I guess I'm not the average birthday girl, eh? Hehe!

Jewelry is ALWAYS a winner, and I still wear one of my favorite birthday gifts (I never take it, a diamond bracelet, off), 3 years later! Other favorites gifts from the past have included golf clubs, a new sofa, and stereo stuff for the S2000.

Again, I'm not the average birthday girl, so I'm probably no help, but JEWELRY always works, and FLOWERS are awesome for any occasion!

I think it would be special if it is something that she enjoys the most by herself. For a wife, this is very likely to something that's completely useless.
Here is a list of what I got her last few years
1.Desinger's series platinum/diamond earings. (platinum and diamond are the 2 things she loves the most)
2.Omega watch
3.S2000
I'm sure you know which one is the most expensive.
However, nothing beats the reaction from receiving the earings.

It's always a tough task to find a good birthday gift.
It would be the best if they can just pick a gift themselves, but it doesn't work that way.

I think I'm gonna pick 2 colorless diamonds from a diamond broker this year to a pair of earings custom made for her.
The tough part is to come up with a good design that goes well with those 2 rocks.
I was going to get her a prada bag, but she has a bunch of those already.......even though she gets excited every time she buys a new one.

Maybe you can get her a nice Prada bag or custom made earings.

If you are looking for a good spa in LA, check out Burke Williams (I think the website is http://www.burkewilliams.com). The have several locations. I've been to the one in Santa Monica and West Hollywood and they are both GREAT! I truly don't know anyone who hasn't loved it. We usually get a group of girls to go on the weekend and do an all day package and its well worth the money.

I'm sure she would LOVE it!

We looked at and submitted an offer on our new house on the Sunday just before my wife's birthday (12/4), on the way back home from her birthday brunch in La Jolla.

Since our offer was accepted the same day, I told her that the new house was her birthday present!

Here's two pictures, both taken in December:

We closed on the house on January 16, but we won't be moving until June.

Beautiful house, Tom. By the time you close, rates will be at another low.

May it be everything you envisioned.
