I think that a happy, relatively uncomplicated life would be my only wish. I don't think anything is that simple or attainable, but that would be my wish nonetheless.

Actually, that, to me, is a rationalization that people who don't have money use to make themselves comfortable about not having it. I'm not saying that money buys, can buy or should buy happiness, but in the words of Wendy's founder, Dave Thomas, "I've tried it rich and I've tried it poor. Rich is better."

Love that quote...

But what would I wish for? I would wish for mansions all over the world, private golf courses, servants, Hacker Pschorr on tap in every one of my homes, cars a'plenty...

Then again, maybe not. I'm quite happy with things...life is good.

Dont be fooled into thinking that money can buy happiness.

Actually I'm pretty lucky already. Excellent wife and family. Kids are grown. House is paid. Working on the vacation home in Colorado. Health is pretty good.

My wish (and don't laugh too loud).
1. I've always wanted to play instruments and sing. Specifically guitar, piano and sax. Not rock star stuff, just for fun.

2. I've always wanted to build and fly my own airplane (Lancair) to Osh Kosh.

There's still lots of time. I set my goals and never quit till I achieve them.

Osh Kosh? It's Oshkosh

(Hint: <-----)

Which reminds me, the annual tourist inundation begins tomorrow. I think the B-1 is going to be here, maybe he'll pull the same stunt the SR-71 pilot did 3 summers ago - a Mach 1.1 flyby. That was extraordinarily cool.
