I never understood why you would believe in something that has very little answers and the story (bible) itself doesn't even add up to something you would WANT to believe in. And I hate when people look at someone that doesn't believe in a religion and they look at you like you just killed a baby seal. Atheist is such a strong word.....but I guess that's what I am.

Agnostic - 1 : a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown and probably unknowable; broadly : one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god
While I personally am in the camp of believing that there is not a god; I'm open minded to being proved otherwise. It doesn't even have to be something entirely solid; just give me SOMETHING that at least makes sense. Then I'll consider otherwise, until then... I'm not going to try and play god by saying there is or isn't.
p.s. I use the word god openly; and I'm not necessarily referring to the catholic/christian god. I suppose diety would be the correct term; a higher, divine being(s).
