My girlfriend and I bought an RV and traveled through the southwest for a 6 months. We lived for 2 months in Las Vegas and two months in San Diego; plus a week in the Grand Canyon; and a bunch of various state and national parks. I worked in the Sahara casino gift shop and sold an iced tea to the host of the Man Show. Exciting stuff! My avatar is our RV parked in San Diego.

your website is impressive!
I'm not a big fan of all the swastika's in the pictures, and I've always been a bit wary of people with a fascination for the German army, but I must admit the list of projects is impressive! No wonder the german scientists got good job opportunities after WWII!!

this one is crazy!

no offense, but I had never seen that sign before looking at your avatar!

I have no idea what is the most recognised insigna in the world, but I'd think the christian cross must be quite near the top.
I pulled the description off one of our webpages. In short it means eagle=nation globe =worldwide service anchor=naval traditions. There is actually a ribbon that hangs from the eagles beak that says Semper Fidelis (latin for always faithful). I don't know where they got the "most recognized insignia in the world" but I agree with you, I never saw it until I joined.
