Just going to work (not counting weekends):

Round trip to work is 100 miles a day and I average approximately 20mpg. I fill up every 1.32 days. Gas is currently $4.59/ga for regular or $87.21 to fill my 19 gallon tank. Per week, I'm spending $114.75. Per month I'm spending $459.

But this doesnt take into account any weekend driving, of which I do more of. Also, this does not take my wife's car into account. She has a 50 mile trip to/from work everyday, but her RL requires premium fuel and comes out to $244.50/mo.

When I purchased this car gas was at $3.59 and with my calculations, I'm spending $110 more per month in gas, or $1320 more per year.

I've tried numerous times to set up carpools and have investigated public transportation all to no avail.

160-200/mo.

I take the bus into NYC so my gas bill is primarily the wife driving our son around and grocery/shopping.

i charged about $800 in gas last month but some of that was racing and driving to the track... that does not include what my wife paid also.

I would have to say that I drive on average 1000 a month to work and to the gym at lunch.... another 300-400 miles for the weekends so 1400 per month / 14mpg (average of my trailblazer and vette) = 100 gallons a month x 4.20ish for premium = $420 minimum.

we usually go somewhere at least 1 time a month to visit relatives, etc... so that is a 500 mile roundtrip to toss in there as well...

I get about 400 miles to the tank in my subbie and it take about $55 to fill the tank. I drive about 1000 miles a month so about $140 for that. The MR2 I drive sparingly so $50 a month in gas sounds about right.

$190 a month.... sweet

Our house has been on the market for two months now. At this point we're asking for just enough so that we can walk away but cant seem to find anyone to buy it.

Dont even get me started on the real estate market.. that's even worse.

I have a spreadsheet of all gas I've used since I bought the car.

34k miles in a little over 2 years. 1512 gallons in gas.

I'm still hovering about $200/month in gas from 2006 and I've driven everyday.
