I don't think anyone was offended, at least not me. Someone asked what cracker was and so I told them. It is a racial slur though, just as much as the N-word. But people really don't flip out about it like the N-word. Can you imagine the uproar if Chef was white and the kids were black and he called them lil n-----s.
I think we use it amonst ourselvs much the same way the N-word is used. Just my Po white trash, cracka, whitey, 2 cents.
