What's your commute like going to and coming from work?

Mine is about 8 minutes to work and 12 minutes back.

I have to leave my bedroom and go to my office in the other end of the house. Bad traffic is when the dogs get under my feet.

My wife has two offices, one in the same room as mine and one 1475 miles NE.

20 mile commute, typically 40-50 minutes TO work.

40min-1hr FROM work. Traffic sucks (I navigate through one of the worst commuter areas in California, though not quite as bad as the LA area )

Between 5-7 minutes either way for me.

About an hour-fifteen. No traffic, either.. I'm just on a project that is 60 miles away. Luckily I can expense a rental car and don't have to drive my S to death, though on nice days like today.. I just had to drive it..

10.1 miles one-way. Usually 15-20min drive. Not to bad. My worst commute was like 85~90 miles one way. Did it for 8 months. the 0.32 cents a mile still didn't perk up my spirts.

Into work . . .
* house to bus stop by car - 5 minutes
* into NYC by bus - 30 minutes
* walk to office from bus depot - 25 minutes
60 minutes total

Back home . . .
* walk to bus depot from office - 25 minutes
* out of NYC by bus - 30 to 90 minutes
* bus stop to house by car - 5 minutes
60 to 120 minutes total

35 mile trip each way through winding country roads. Zero traffic. Usually I'm averaging about 90mph in my car and 120mph when I take my bike. Made the trip in as little as 25 minutes before. Just sucks right now when dusk comes at 5:30pm. The bugs coming off the fields coat my car.
