Ahhhhh...another thread about booze.
My beer of choice is Hacker Pschorr Weisse, I have a real affinity for that stuff. Yummy...but ONLY to be enjoyed in the proper glass. This beer isn't NEARLY as good straight out of the bottle. This is just about the only beer that I know of that really opens up when it's poured into the proper glass. It's very dramatic, actually...
Other beers of note are Guinness, Harp, Bass, Corona, Duvel, Kirin (at the sushi bar, of course), oh man, too many to list here.
My motto is "Beer is good." Words to live by, I must say!
I also have something of a wine collection...I generally store about 50 bottles. I prefer a big, full and rich cabernet. The Clos du Val (not Clos du Bois, but those are generally good, as well) 97 Cabernet is one of the best bottles I have ever enjoyed. I have a few left and I also have a couple of the 97 Private Reserve I'm saving for a a VERY special occasion.
But I also enjoy a rich buttery chardonnay... the 97 Beringer Private Reserve chardonnay is a spectacularly creamy one. It was Wine Spectator's Chardonnay of the Year a year or two ago. I have several of these, as well.
Mark, is Yebisu a Japanese brew? I am not familiar with that one.
