Rome is amazing
Yakushima, Japan - as beautiful as Hawaii without the tourists or resorts (lived there for two years, it's a small island between Kagoshima and Okinawa).
For a crazy good time: Ko Samui, Thailand (mentioned in Meet the Parents). Awsome beaches and loaded with Europeans looking for parties.

No, somehow I missed that, even though we stayed overnight there. Machu Piccu will tear your eyes out. It's no wonder it's called the Lost City of the Incas and it wasn't discovered until 1911 by Hiram Bingham.
