Anyone know what day the Spanish-American War started

Also, I thought the Gulf War started on 1/1/1991...a Tuesday.

Anyway, IMO, the "new war" started a few weeks ago as US and British air assets started to destroy Iraqi short and medium range missle batteries along the no fly zone.

 

The Spanish American War was before my time.

 

How about the Spanish Civil War?

I think it will start about six months later than it should have.

 

i hope it never really starts...i hope no more US civilians have to die. my biggest fear is that a nuke will eventually find it's way onto US soil. For those who die, die with no pain, those who survive, die of radiation.
