All I can say is ... wow.

I was just browsing through a few different sites looking at wheel prices without too many surprises. Then I paid a visit to TireRack to check out the good ole' BBS LM's and the price has jumped yet again.

Four wheels 18x8 front 18x9.5 rear wrapped in S0-3s.

$5,062.00 before tax and shipping, $5147.00 shipped.

Crikey, thats alot for a set of wheels. Granted they are beautiful wheels with amazing build quality.

So the question becomes, when is it just too much?

You know, I've noticed that about the LMs as well.....does anybody know the reason behind the crazy price increases on those wheels?

They are VERY sexy wheels to have on an S2000, but GAWD-DAYUM!!!!

Personally, I couldn't spend more than $2000 on a set of wheels and tires....it's just not logical or practical for me, being a broke college student and all....

The Lm's are made in Japan. BBS better start lowering their price, cause for 5K you could get custom made fit to order wheels from HRE, Iforged, Fikse and Work S1.

$500 a rim is the very max i'm willing to pay. Anything more and it just makes me feel all dirty inside. Like I should do better things with my $$.

Wow thats insane.. they use to be around 2700 a set and now theyre 4000 after only a year? Jeez.. I wanted some too but I guess ill get some fikse.

The most I would pay for rims is around 600 each and thats the max, I guess the RGR's I am getting just went up on resell value.
