Shame about Circuit City! They provided me with a fairly nice managerial position while in college. The company has existed for decades. Shame that bad corporate management has driven the entire company into the ground, while Best Buy flourishes.

to be honest, my last purchase at CC 2 years ago. If my experience was representative of the CC culture, I'm not surprised that they went under.

it was an exercise in frustration. they hired idiots to work there and the manager acted as if they're doing me a favor by selling a $1500 laptop to me. I have never gone back.

if they have REALLLLYYYY good prices under BK firesales, I might stop by to browse a little.

In my experience, Best Buy has even worse customer service and higher prices. But it does have some mysterious aura that draws people in. Being inside, there is a certain mysterious coolness about the atmosphere. There's just something, I can't explain it. Maybe that's why they flourish and CC collapsed. That, and management.

Who was the corporate turd that decided to stop selling appliances at CC? Appliances are some of the most profitable in retail.
