maybe it's called a forcep. i need it for some model-making. hobby store didn't carry it.

Surgical instruments are very nice but carry a pricey price tag. You may want to look up "jewelers forceps".

the BEST tweezers i;ve ever owned i got with this little eyebrow kit i have from a cosmetics company called benefit... they're tiny and really precise.

Eyebrow Kit

you could just buy it and take the tweezers out and give the kit to your wife/girlfriend/mom and she'll think you're really nice.

you may score some on ebay that are old or used and no longer expensive.

You can find vendors for those sorts of tools at local shows (computer, gun, photo,...) and at the regular 'flea markets' like the one running almost every weekend at the OC Fairgrounds. If you want to pay too much, find a better hobby shop.
