Uhm its called I interviewed with them in Dallas and got an offer. At the time I also had a lot of other offers that were much better so I declined. But it would obivously take some sort of fashion sense if they felt I was good enough to purchase for their Men's Line. I was NOT offered a job by walking down the street....

And to PLYRS3 - Its funny how you feel the need to personally attack people on the internet to feel good. Must be some sort of I have no education, I have no friends, I have no life syndrome. Its ok though, I feel sorry for people who haven't had the chance blossom intellectually. Maybe someday you'll use more the 1% of your brain. One can always dream.

again, you don't just suddenly become a buyer for NM with no previous buying experience....you've got about 3-4 previous jobs before that happens...

I think I know that. I used to be in the retail industry at the corporate level for quite some time. I've worked for and with some very large and recognizable brand names in the US, but I don't think I need to post my resume to justify myself on an internet forum. So please don't act like you know me and my abilities. This thread is about giving a guy some suggestions on where to buy some clothes.

Why don't we try to keep this ON topic.

-Oh and about that training program. You think they bring up all levels of buyers through that program? Think again. How many executives or upper level managers at ANY company make it up the ranks through some training program. There are headhunters for that... Which is exactly how I got my interview. That's what they do, and that's how they get paid. And if they are good, you might just listen once in a while. Sure, if you want to get INTO Buying from scratch, the development program is exactly how to get in, but its not a requirement... nor is it necessary. So you can call BS if you'd like, as it really doesn't matter all that much to me. But just don't assume things if you don't know. Thanks.

Either way dude, just drop it and move on with your life. I've already wasted too much of my time on this. Peace.
