Default Where to get a High-Def Monitors?

I need to get another one. I'm thinking about up-sizing to 22" (currently on 19"). It must be high-def and with good refresh rate since I'm a casual gamer. I'll be running single GTX280 GPU on my next rig but putting in another one once its price drops. Any LCD monitor gurus here? Thanks.

I'd recommend the Westinghouse 24". It's one of the best monitors I've owned for regular day-to-day work. I've even used it (when I need something in a hurry) as a production monitor. Very versatile, very bright, great quality.

I like my 24" samsung, but my brother's Dell UltraSharp 24" is SO much better.
I am kicking myself for not spending that tiny bit extra.

Damn, 24"? Won't I throw up playing some FPS games? Do you think GTX280 will be able to handle 24" at max res? What about two 24" monitors? My next rig will have Intel I7 940 Quad with 6GB DDR3 memory.

Get a 24". You will get used to is quickly. I would never go back to anything smaller after gaming on my 24".

Also steer clear of cheapo TN panels. You want an MVA or PVA variant panel. More expensive samsung models will use SPVA. Dell, BenQ, Soyo, Ezio etc will use MVA or PVA panels too.

a gtx280 will be able to drive a 24" at max res at medium to high detail for anything except the most demanding games.
You wont regret it.

I just got a Viewsonic VX2265wm 22-inch Widescreen FuHzion 120Hz LCD Display

The description says "Designed for the hard core gamer looking for the ultimate in 3D gaming and graphics professionals looking for a monitor to bring your designs to life. Revolutionary, pure 120Hz frame rate combines with ultra-fast 3ms video response for immaculate blur-free motion and realistic 3D rendering. High contrast ratio and integrated stereo speakers Blur the line between fantasy and reality with the blur-free FuHzion VX2265wm LCD."

I play Counter Strike 1.6 and CS Source. This monitor is great with fps games. I like it a lot.
