When I was in therapy I really learned the benefit of meditation. It can be frustrating at first, as getting yourself in that "zone" doesn't happen automatically, but god damn it heals.

Gym or other physical sport that makes me sweat. That's my best stress reliever. What sucks is if you get used to that and then get injured. The downtime sucks harder, lol.

Gun range!

It takes a lot of focus, relaxation, and concentration to shoot paper. If thats not working you can find a place to rapid fire and not concentrate on anything.

paper targets though - breath, raise gun, sight in, relax finger on trigger, inhale, exhale, slowly depress trigger, BANG!, check target, repeat.

if you are focusing on all of your fundamentals of shooting and trying to get a nice tight group you can go through 300 rounds before you notice and have forgotten about anything else.
