If you had a team, would you take Kobe or Iverson?


I think LA takes it in 6... wishing otherwise, though.

 

I hate those bandwagon-Lakers fans that flaunt the flags on their cars and wear jerseys on game days 'cuz it's fashionable in LA. Where were those fans before Shaq and Kobe came along? Before Phil Jackson? And when they make the excuse that they have always liked the Lakers b/c it's "our team," I ask them why they don't like the Clippers and their most common response is because they're not as good.

Sorry, just rambling on . . . If I had a team, though, I guess I'd take Kobe . . . hey, I never said I didn't like him . . . just his bandwagon fans . . .

 

Kobe will beat Iverson 1 on 1. Kobe has a better chance of guarding AI. AI has no chance to guard Kobe. Kobe can play D, AI cannot. Lakers in 4.

 

IVERSON!!!!!!!!!! i was down in philly tonight and it was CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have to go to philly for thats my home team, (well kinda i am from jersey but am in philly almost everyday )

I'd take Kobe, but that's because I'm a Laker fan. A friend of mine is one of his neighbors and lives just down the hill from him. She see's him almost everday driving his ferrari up and down the hill.

I think the Lakers might try to take it in 4 and be the first team to ever go undefeated in the playoffs. That's the only motivation left for these guys. They know they're going to win another championship, the real question is if they can make history by sweeping.

Iverson is just like a guy who knows how to play selfish.... I hate Jordan, cuz he played selfish ....but I gotta say... Jordan is the best player in NBA history!! He in unbeatable !! However... Iverson plays like a kid...always wanna have everyone's attention... which I don't think it is a good way to be in a team.... Kobe, was an asshole but seems better nowaday... so, I will go for Kobe... BTW, I am a Orlando Magic fan Since Scot Skiles was playing there.... sigh~~

 

i don't think that iverson is a kid anymoreso than kobe is. if anything, the immaturity levels of the laker's big two was truly evident this whole season about 'who was da man'. the only reason why LA is stepping it up in the playoffs is because the bottom line is winning the championship.

iverson has shown a willingness to get his team involved and has always given his team credit for winning. that was not necessarily the case even a year or two ago. in any event, AI is too small to cover kobe, so you'll see mckie on him or something.

i like iverson because he is gritty, has a lot of heart and does show many jordan-esque characteristics. and jordan WAS the best to have ever played.

Well, I never seen Jordan attck his head coach... Iverson to me is like... If sixer wins...!! it is Iverson, if Sixer lose..!! it is still Iverson!! I don't think any team would like to have a player who attacks coach and play like he is the only one in the team!!

I am not sure what will happen... I will say Spus is much better team that sixer.... If Laker could take Spus 4-0, I think it is easier for laker to take Sixer 4-0... but, no one knows!! just wait and see what happen then!!

 

Kobe or Allen? Do I have other options?

Iverson is my favorite player to watch, but I sure wouldn't want him on my Mavericks. He is just amazing to watch. A guy his size scoring at will.

Kobe is probably the best player in the league, but again, I'd rather have Finley on the Mavericks. IMO, Finley is more of a team player. Yes, I've watch every Mavs game this past season.

Kobe and Allen are the two best guards in the league, but I would rather start a team with Shaq.
