However, steroids will not make you a woman. In fact, they usually cause an increase in penis size (due to extra blood flow, more ability to hold more blood) while at the expense of causing your testicles to shrink. This only happens while "on" because the body's natural production of testosterone shuts off. Those who use steroids tend to go through cycles and also use things to help promote natural testosterone production. So they usually go back to normal after a cycle.
I was being sarcastic about him becoming a woman - I was basically commenting on their lack of...*ahem*...testicles. Thanks for the science lesson, though.

Wasn't sure if you were serious or not.

You ever see what that kind of stuff does to women? Clit becomes a small penis. Wouldn't you like to meet up with someone like that? HA!

Ronnies amazing. I wish I had genetics like him.

Bodybuildings more of a sport than 9/10 of the things they show on ESPN.

And for those who think all they do is gather as much gear as possible and shoot as much as possible, eat all day, and lift all day is ignorant. In fact, they probably train less than football players or basketball players, they just train at an insanely high intensity.

A sport that relies solely on drugs to get so big? I'm not so naive to think that no other athletes in other major sports don't take enhancing drugs but they certainly don't use such obvious, severely (unnaturally) altering drugs as these guys do.

What exactly is the sport? Fill needle, insert needle, eat 8000 calories a day, and work out all day? Yeah - really sporting. Sorry, I repeat, these guys are freaks. They may have a natural predilection to being muscular but let's face it - they're far beyond "ability" and way into "mutation".

You can, of course, show me my ignorance by showing me what exactly is "sporting" about this. I'm open to comments.
I have to agree with you on "They may have a natural predilection to being muscular but let's face it - they're far beyond "ability" and way into "mutation"." to a certain degree. But bodybuilding takes more dedication than any other sport I can think of right now. These people dedicate their entire lives to building a perfect physique. Although there are many that go was over board like there is this one circus idiot who has 29" arms. See people like this just inject themselves to get bigger. But it would be ignorant for us to think that all professional bodybuilders do is fill a needle and shoot themselves in the ass. Just for experiment shoot yourself in the ass and see if you'll grow. I highly doubt it. Bodybuilders spend a good part of the day at the gym (most once in the morning and once again at night) just reppin out as many sets as they can. Oh and NateDogg you definately have a point. If all the old school bodybuilders had what the bodybuilders of today have... it would be a whole different story. Thats why even until today arnold is held up in such high respect even though he has no where near the mass of Ronnie. Science plays a large part in todays bodybuilding as to how big one gets.

It takes a lot of mental determination to get to where these guys are. You don't get like this by just eating and taking drugs. They workout at an intensity most of us wouldn't believe.

yes, but you also have to remember that those guys enjoy working out. people enjoy different things and those people just happens to enjoy lifting weight. i have a friend who loves to read. he reads anywhere from 50-200 pages a day. i ask him why and he just tells me that reading is what he likes to do.

those guys do not drag themselves to the gym to lift weight for 3+ hours. they enjoy it. it really doesn't have anything to do with determination. its more like a routine if you ask me. yes, at first, i'm sure it took some determination, but at that point, its just part of there life.

just out of curiosity, how much of a difference would it make if they didn't take any muscle enhancing drugs? i have a friend who is working his ass off without any drugs and he is not making any progress.

Two things I'd like to say: 1) that is so gross and freaky looking; 2) that is so much hard work. They must live at the gym.
